Sharla Aronson, dds

Sharla is a native of Fort Collins. She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University and University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, Sharla completed a general practice residency at the VA in Palo Alto, California, where she gained advanced training.

Dr. Aronson is passionate about wellness and helping her patients achieve their most healthy state. She is dedicated to continually updating her skills, and attends over 80 hours of continuing education each year. In 2019, she completed Holistic Dental Education training and became SMART certified through the IAOMT.

Sharla is married to her high school sweetheart, Chris Aronson. They have two daughters, Leighton and Sloane, a lab-mix named Miles, and a pug-poodle named Lucky. She and Chris enjoy running road races, practicing yoga, biking, traveling, cooking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Kendra,
Treatment Coodinator

Kendra moved to Fort Collins in 1992 and began her career in dentistry in 1996. She has been an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant for 5 years. She is also a certified professional medical coder.

The best part of being an EDDA for Kendra is creating relationships with patients, gaining their trust and helping create a great experience for them. Kendra has been married to her husband, Jon, for 25 years, and they have a 16 year old daughter named Peyton.

Kendra enjoys scrapbooking, making time for exercise, baking and spending time with her family.

Monica,
Appointment Coordinator

Monica moved with her family to Fort Collins at age 6 and this has been her home ever since. She began her career in dental administration in 2014. Monica’s favorite part of working in the dental field is creating great smiles! No transformation is too big or small; the confidence that comes from a beautiful smile is wonderful to see.

Monica has worked extensively with most insurance plans. She is a wealth of knowledge and a great resource for patients.

In her free time, Monica loves to spend time with her husband, Ron and her German Shepherd puppy, Gracie. Monica also loves to read, go to the movies, explore our beautiful state, and travel.

Jen,
Dental Hygienist

Jen grew up in Winter Park, CO.  She was a dental assistant for several years prior to going to hygiene school.  She received her bachelors in dental hygiene from Southern Illinois University in 2010.  

Jen is always eager to learn about the new advancements in dentistry.  She is passionate about giving patients the best and most comprehensive care, as well as creating great relationships with the patients.  

In her free time, Jen and her two children enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding and spending time with friends and family.  

Emily,
Dental Hygienist

Emily is originally from Littleton, CO. She received her dental hygiene degree from LCCC in Cheyenne, WY in 2004 and furthered her education with an undergraduate degree from UMKC’s College of Dentistry in 2009. Emily is passionate about advancing her patient’s knowledge of oral health, while building long-lasting relationships and providing gentle, comprehensive care. Outside of the office, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband on their farm, exploring Colorado’s mountains, and imbibing on craft beers here in Fort Collins.

jessica,
dental assistant (edda)

Jessica is a native to Fort Collins. She has been an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant for 13 years and worked in Huntington Beach California for four years. She is trained in various aspects of dentistry and enjoys delivering quality dentistry. After having her daughter, Laila (9 months), she began working at Aronson Family Dental.

Jessica is thankful to work at an office that strives to achieve a high standard of patient care, and focuses on the health of the patient’s entire body.

During her free time, Jessica loves hiking or paddle boarding outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her family and black lab Jaxson.

Grace,
Dental Assistant

Grace was born and raised here in Colorado. While attending dental assisting school in 2019, she discovered her passion for helping others learn about the connection between oral and overall health. Before beginning her career in dentistry, she had over 6 years of customer service experience. Grace appreciates Aronson Family Dental’s holistic approach because it reflects her own personal value of natural medicine. She believes that we can never stop learning and appreciates all of the education al opportunities this industry brings. In her free time, Grace loves snowboarding, traveling, going to the lake, and hiking with her dog Moose.
